| Q. |
Why doesn't my Rextons fuel gauge move after re-fueling? |
| A. |
To ensure re-fueling is registered you must open the fuel cap door with the engine running so that the fuel sender recognises that the vehicle is being re-fuelld. If the fuel cap door is opened after the vehicle ignition is off, intermitantly it will be fooled into thinking the increase in fuel is just fuel movement in the tank and therefore doesn't register. |

| Q. |
Why do I sometimes receive a Service Reminder letter when I've only just had a service? |
| A. |
The service reminder letters are only designed as a guide, not an accurate record of when your vehicle may need a service. They are generated on time between services, at 6 or 12 month intervals, which ever is appropriate for your vehicle. We aim to ensure this is as accurate as possible though it can be difficult particularly if your vehicle is serviced according to milage.
If you receive a letter which is not applicable to the shedule for your vehicle, you may simply ignore it or just let us know to avoid receiveing the second letter. In addition, if you do not wish to receive reminder letters at all, either give us a call or drop an email and we will mark your record accordingly. |
